It once used to be useful to gather immense lists of link that I found useful. However the power of search engines, integrated search toolbars, and the fact that some peope are just much more effective than me at doing this, has kind of made this process rather pointless. So here is just a few places on the web that I find myself visiting reasonably regularly during research related activities. Otherwise I go to Google, just like the rest of you... Cryptography CiteSeer Scientific Library is a good place to start looking for an article. Helger Lipmaa's cryptology pointers - why bother keeping your own? Ron Rivest's cryptography and security pointers are fairly useful. Tom Dunigan's security pointers are also fairly comprehensive. The UCL Crypto Group's Calls for Papers site is amazingly well maintained. The International Association for Cryptologic Research for cryptologic things. Doug Stinson's web page always has too many new preprints. Information Security Information Security Forum, Infomation Systems Security Association, SANS Institute, SecurityFocus, CSO Online, IEEE Security and Privacy Magazine, The Register and Security International are all good general sources of information. I occasionally write book reviews for the Information Security Bulletin. General The EPSRC occasionally hand out cash, so it is important to be nice to them.
