Continuing Professional Development
The modules of the Royal Holloway MSc in Information Security are now available for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Professional bodies such as (ISC)2 accept our modules for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) purposes.
The award of Royal Holloway MSc in Information Security may be earned via the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) route. Credit towards the award of the MSc may be accumulated over a seven year period.
The modules are available in three modes of delivery: Weekly lectures on campus during an 11 week teaching term; Block Mode delivery in one week (5 day) courses; and by Distance Learning . Note that Block Mode courses are available on campus but may also be delivered, by arrangement, at a company’s own site.
Royal Holloway Information Security Group CPD students will be given a Certificate of Attendance but may also choose to enter for the examination to earn credit towards the MSc in Information Security. A student who elects to enter for the assessment of the modules and successfully follows the study programme of the MSc within a period of 7 years will qualify for the award of the MSc in Information Security.
Those interested in any aspect of CPD with the Information Security Group should contact Pauline Stoner (p.stoner [at] rhul [dot] ac [dot] uk) . Applicants entering for the assessment of the modules at Royal Holloway for the first time should apply on-line via the Graduate School .
